Applications submitted through Indeed alone may not be reviewed. The Business Manager provides operational, fiscal, and administrative leadership for BKRHC. Reporting directly to the Executive Director, this position oversees daily business operations, budgeting and financial management, contract administration, procurement, payroll coordination, grants management, compliance monitoring, and organizational policies and procedures. The Business Manager works closely with community partners, government agencies, funders, and service providers to ensure organizational effectiveness, financial accountability, regulatory compliance, and successful implementation of homelessness response programs. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Leadership & Operations Supervise assigned staff and oversee daily organizational operations. Lead recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and staff development activities. Oversee office operations, facility management, and workplace safety procedures. Coordinate organizational meetings, trainings, and events. Financial Management Develop and manage organizational and program budgets. Monitor revenue, expenditures, and fiscal performance. Prepare budget and financial reports for leadership and stakeholders. Maintain fiscal tracking systems and financial records. Manage payroll processes and coordinate with external accounting providers. Contracts, Procurement & Grants Oversee contracts, procurement activities, and Request for Proposal (RFP) processes. Manage grant administration and compliance requirements. Monitor service contracts, amendments, and provider compliance. Ensure adherence to federal, state, local, and funder regulations. Reporting & Compliance Prepare and submit financial and programmatic reports to funding agencies, including HUD and other grant funders. Analyze performance data, compliance metrics, and funding opportunities. Support data quality improvement efforts across Continuum of Care (CoC) programs. Develop reports, presentations, spreadsheets, and other materials for internal and external stakeholders. Minimum Qualification Education Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Experience Four (4) years of progressively responsible administrative or management experience in areas such as: Budgeting and fiscal management Program administration Contract administration Procurement Operational oversight Community engagement Public relations Preferred Qualifications Two (2) years of supervisory or team leadership experience. Experience with Accounts Payable/Receivable, QuickBooks, payroll, and financial reporting systems. Experience working with grants, government funding, nonprofit operations, or compliance programs. Bilingual English/Spanish skills are highly desirable.
Pay:
$66,664.00 - $99,985.00 per year
