Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced District Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of 8-12 City Sports Club Fitness Centers. This role requires strong leadership skills, operational expertise, and a commitment to delivering an exceptional guest and member experience. The District Operations Manager will be responsible for hiring, training, and developing a team of operations managers to ensure each location runs smoothly, maintains high standards of cleanliness, safety, and facility maintenance. This position is fully onsite and involves travel between clubs using a personal vehicle, with mileage reimbursement provided. Duties Provide full oversight of multiple fitness centers, ensuring operational excellence across all locations. You are responsible for hiring, training and developing the Club Managers who provide professional training and leadership to the Club Staff. Maintain high standards of club cleanliness, safety, and guest/member satisfaction. Oversee facility and equipment maintenance and coordinate repairs as needed. Ensure consistent delivery of excellent guest/member experiences through staff development and operational improvements. Your previous experiences and background enable you to resolve all escalated member concerns within your market quickly and thuroughly. Conduct regular site visits to monitor performance, address issues promptly, and implement best practices. Manage scheduling, staffing levels, and operational procedures to optimize club performance. Collaborate with corporate leadership to align local operations with company goals and policies. Travel between clubs as required; mileage will be reimbursed. This position is full-time, exempt position. Travel is required. You must have an ability to work nights and weekends as needed. Skills Proven experience in managing multiple locations or districts within the fitness, retail, food or hospitality industry. Strong background in hiring, training, and developing staff at managerial levels. Excellent leadership and team-building skills with the ability to motivate staff. Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail in facility management and guest service standards. Ability to troubleshoot operational issues quickly and effectively. Valid personal vehicle for travel; reliable transportation is essential. Strong communication skills to coordinate with staff, management, and corporate teams. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Minimum of 4+ years of multi unit management level experience.
