Responsible for overseeing all items through the consignment process.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Strategically plan and manage the efficient production, shipping, and management of consignments to Home Office and coordinate Office Relocation.
- Manage Operations staff of shippers, packers, and consignment coordinators
- Report directly to Managing Director
- Create monthly productivity reports for management
- Resolve any arising problems or complaints
- Ensure packing and unpacking of fragile items is completed carefully
- Oversee and ensure timely entry and tagging of property
- Establish where items will be stored before they go to Home Office or client
- Ensure a constant flow of material to photographers and catalogers
- Manage the locating of property at any time for any reason
- Oversee in verifying and lot-tagging property
- Manage and Assist the crew in safely moving property, including training
- Help maintain control and order of storage areas
- Manage and Assist with storage of non-value materials (cases, walls, etc.)
- Manage and Assist in boxing and crating for inter-office shipment
- Coordinate, manage, and assist with loading and unloading of trucks safely
- Assist with movement of sold and unsold items, including final disposition
- Manage inventory control
- Recommend improvements to flow, storage, and security
- Other duties may be assigned Requirements
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Required, Bachelor's degree or Military training
- Must have 2+ years of experience in managing personnel
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications, specifically Outlook and Excel
- Superb customer service skills and grace under pressure
- Driver's license, Spanish Speaking preferred
- Ability to multitask and pay great attention to detail
- The individual will repeatedly lift to 60 pounds
