In this role, you will build the strategy for your team, including coverage plans,breakthrough approaches, and innovative solutions to solve challenges and achieve business targets. You collaborate closely with internal andexternal partners to create plans and programs that scale the business and drive amazing outcomes for the people we serve. Description Develop business plans aligned to broader organizational strategy across teams and stakeholders.
Operationalize business plans with cross-functional programs and technical teams.
Mobilize resources for growth and delivery. Follow through to ensure all commitments are met and problems addressed.
Build and lead great teams. Assemble the right people, motivate them, enable them with the right tools, and supporttheir collaboration. Minimum Qualifications 10+ years of experience in business operations, program management, or general management, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role leading multi-disciplinary teams, with a track record of balancing short-term delivery against building sustainable, long-term value. Proven experience directly managing and developing managers or team leads (not just individual contributors),including hiring, performance management, and career development responsibilities. Demonstrated experience operating in fast-changing, ambiguous environments where you had to adapt strategy in real time. Experience prioritizing and reallocating resources across competing initiatives under time pressure, with specific examples of trade-off decisions you've made and their outcomes. Hands-on experience implementing and running operating cadences, business metrics, and review processes (e.g.,QBRs, OKRs, KPI dashboards) to track team performance against goals. Track record of anticipating market or organizational shifts and proactively adjusting plans ahead of them, rather than reacting after the fact. Experience conducting competitive and market analysis that directly informed strategic or investment decisions, with specific examples. Experience with budget ownership and P&L or investment analysis, including building business cases that influenced funding or resourcing decisions. Experience leading cross-functional initiatives spanning multiple teams or departments (e.g., engineering, finance, marketing) without direct authority over all contributors, and successfully driving them to completion. Experience building and running forward planning processes (e.g., quarterly/annual planning, roadmap reviews) for an organization or major function. Experience building relationships and gathering input across a wide network of internal stakeholders and subject matter experts to inform decision-making. Preferred Qualifications Experience navigating cross-organizational dependencies at a large, matrixed company, with specific examples of how you identified and managed interdependencies to keep initiatives on track. Experience adapting quickly to shifting or unique stakeholder requirements, with specific examples of building influence and alignment across internal and external groups with competing priorities. Experience mediating disputes or negotiations between stakeholders and driving resolution with minimal escalation, including examples where you made a difficult call under pressure. Experience distilling ambiguous, multi-variable problems into clear recommendations for executive audiences, e.g., through structured frameworks or executive summaries. Experience revisiting or reversing a prior decision based on new data or analysis, even after significant time/resources had been invested, and owning the outcome with stakeholders. Experience building a team from the ground up or significantly scaling an existing team, including recruiting, onboarding, and mentoring talent. Experience identifying and resourcing gaps on a team or project proactively, before they became blockers, with specific examples. Experience conducting user or stakeholder research (e.g., interviews, surveys, feedback sessions) to directly inform product, program, or business decisions. Track record of exceeding measurable goals or targets in a prior role, with specific metrics where possible. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting to and aligning senior stakeholders or executives on complex or ambiguous initiatives. Experience prioritizing effectively under competing deadlines and ambiguity, with examples of seeing an initiative through despite setbacks or resistance. Experience coaching or mentoring team members toward individual goals, with examples of measurable growth or promotion outcomes. Experience developing a new strategy or approach from scratch, using structured analysis to identify what to cut and what to prioritize, with a specific example of a strategy you shaped. Pay & Benefits At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $212,600 and $376,300, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary bonuses or commission payments as well as relocation.
