Job Description
Operational Supervisor (Repair Center) Opportunity in California Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking an experienced Operational Supervisor to join their client's dynamic team in California. This role requires a dedicated professional with a strong background in managing repair center operations and a passion for leading and developing teams. Responsibilities Top 3
Priorities:
Team supervision and leadership Relevant industry experience within a repair shop, service center, manufacturing, or operations environment Strong computer skills including CRM, ticketing systems, inventory management, reporting, and organizationKey Responsibilities:
Supervise and support a team of 10-15 employees, including Receivers and Repair Technicians. Monitor daily operations within receiving and repair center stations. Track and prioritize work orders, repair tickets, and operational workflows. Coordinate activities with Testing Engineers and other cross-functional team members. Conduct daily meetings and communicate operational priorities. Monitor inventory control, tool organization, and asset tracking. Provide status updates and progress reports to internal stakeholders and requestors. Review productivity, workflow efficiency, and operational metrics. Ensure work orders are completed accurately and on time. Assist in building processes and improving operational efficiencies.Work Environment:
Warehouse and repair center setting Fast-paced environment High volume operation handling approximately 50-100 work orders per week Collaborative culture with strong interaction between operations, engineering, and repair teamsCommunication Breakdown:
Approximately 30% customer/requestor updates and progress reporting Approximately 25% email communication Primary focus is operations, receiving, repair coordination, and supervision Minimal traditional customer service (approximately 1%)Qualifications Required:
Previous supervisory experience Experience in a repair center, service center, manufacturing, warehouse, or operations environment Strong organization and inventory control experience Experience with work orders and ticketing systems CRM experience Strong computer proficiency and reporting skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and leadership skillsPreferred:
Mandarin bilingual required (as they will be communicating with overseas team) Experience supervising technicians or repair personnel Experience working with inventory management systems Degree preferred but not required Requirements Education requirement is High School.Work Hours Schedule:
Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday. OFF Wednesday & Thursday.Hours:
8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Benefits Background and drug screen required.Additional Details Max Pay:
$35 per hour.Min Pay:
$30 per hour. Around 0% travel time. This job is a supervisor position.
