Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Operations Supervisor to oversee operations within our distribution center. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient logistics, inventory control, and compliance with safety regulations. This position requires strong leadership skills and a commitment to process improvement within a fast-paced environment with the flexibility of being able to work long hours and weekends when needed. Your Role Supervise daily warehouse operations, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures. Manage and coordinate shipping and receiving activities, maintaining accurate inventory records. Oversee the operation of forklifts and other material handling equipment in compliance with OSHA standards. Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity within the distribution center. Train, mentor, and evaluate warehouse staff, fostering a positive work environment. Collaborate with logistics teams to optimize supply chain operations and resolve any issues that arise. Conduct regular inspections of the warehouse to ensure safety standards are met and maintained. Monitor inventory levels, conducting regular audits to ensure accuracy in inventory management. Experience Proven experience as a Operations Supervisor or similar supervisory role in a warehouse or distribution center environment. Strong knowledge of logistics, inventory control, and shipping/receiving processes. Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety practices within a warehouse setting. Experience in 3PL (third-party logistics) operations is preferred. Demonstrated ability to implement process improvements that enhance operational efficiency. Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software tools. Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively. Min of 3 years of Operations Supervisory experience. Min of 3 years of KPI reporting. Must be flexible and able to work long hours when needed including weekends. Strong tenure with previous or current employer. Medical industry is a huge plus but not required.
