Tasting Room Associate

Overview We are seeking a friendly and professional Tasting Room Associate to join our team at our family winery and farm. This role offers an exciting opportunity to engage with visitors, showcase our wines, and provide an exceptional tasting experience. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food and beverage industry, excellent customer service skills, and a keen interest in hospitality. Previous experience in fine dining, food service, or related fields such as catering, banquet service, or food handling is highly desirable. A background in the food industry or hospitality will be advantageous in creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests. This position is integral to representing our brand and ensuring guests leave with memorable impressions of their visit. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and guide them through the tasting experience with professionalism and enthusiasm Educate visitors about our wines, production process, and winery history Serve wine accurately and responsibly, adhering to all safety and legal standards Maintain cleanliness and organization of the tasting room and surrounding areas Assist with food preparation or pairing offerings when applicable Manage guest inquiries efficiently and provide exceptional customer service throughout their visit Support the team in executing events Support event hosting or private tastings as needed Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and proper handling of wine and related products Skills Proven experience in fine dining, food service, catering, banquet service, or hospitality environments Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously Willingness to learn Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety standards Excellent communication skills to educate guests about wine and enhance their tasting experience Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Flexibility to work weekends or special events if required Passion for the food industry with an interest in wine This role offers an engaging environment where you can develop your hospitality skills while sharing your passion for food and fine wines.
