Description:
The Boys & Girls Clubs of Huntington Valley are looking to hire a Site Coordinator for our Expanded Learning Opportunity Programs (ELOP). We are looking for positive, energetic individuals who want to support the program and our Youth Development Professionals deliver the best quality program on a school site.
Position:
Site Coordinator for Expanded Learning Opportunity Programs Reports to:
Director of Family Support Purpose:
Under the supervision of the Director of Family Support Programs, the Site Coordinator has the responsibility for supervising personnel, Club programs and reporting to the Director of Family Support.
Salary:
$25.00-$28.00/hour

Employee Handbook Responsibilities:
Supervise staff and program areas to assure safety and participation in scheduled activities and programs. Accept responsibility for the management and security of the site facilities as assigned by the Director of Family Support Programs. Attend neighborhood/community meetings relevant to specific core service areas. Supervise and schedule staff. Be aware of staff absences and arrange for coverage, as well as maintain ratios in each room. Process timecard review and approval. Evaluate programs, outcome objectives and membership statistics as they relate to core program areas and personnel, in conjunction with the Director of Family Support Programs. Know basic office operations and the ProCare Membership system. Know and practice basic cash handling and cash management. Complete additional tasks as assigned by the Director of Family Support Programs. Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and prospective families. Work effectively with all school staff and officials, keep communication open and non-threatening and respond to staff needs for experimentation and growth. Assist Director of Family Support Programs with planning and obtaining information for monthly staff meetings. Attend seminars and share information with staff. Handle discipline situations with children, as needed. Assist in and plan club fundraisers. Schedule and organize field trips and special events. Purchase supplies, equipment, and other items as needed for programming with approval from the Director of Family Support Programs. Work directly in program areas as required, providing breaks and coverage for program areas as needed.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distant vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Requirements:
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree. Three years of Successful Experience in Related Field. Outstanding oral and written communication skills. Willingness to work additional hours for agency projects and events. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude. TB test, First Aid & CPR. Previous Boys & Girls Clubs experience a plus. School classroom management a plus.
