What This Role Is Really About — Leading a Large Frontline Workforce We actively welcome leaders from manufacturing plants and other large-scale operating environments who have directly managed and developed a sizable frontline workforce, and who have owned shift operations, productivity, and safety. Domain knowledge such as WMS and fulfillment processes can be learned on the job. Proven frontline leadership comes first. Approximately 60% of the site's frontline workforce uses Spanish as their primary language — the ability to lead people in a diverse environment is what determines success in this role. 1) Key Responsibilities 1-1. Fulfillment Center Operations & Organizational Management Oversee the day-to-day operations of a 250,000 sq. ft. Fulfillment Center Manage operations across three business units and two shifts Lead and develop three Operations Managers and one Facility Services Manager Oversee workforce planning and productivity for an organization of approximately 100 employees 1-2. Operational Performance & Profitability Management Manage key operational KPIs, including productivity, labor costs, and operational efficiency Oversee order and inventory accuracy Ensure customer SLA compliance and continuously improve service levels Manage operating budgets and control operational costs 1-3. Customer Management & Commercial Responsibilities Manage operational and service-related issues for 3PL customers Oversee key customer SLAs and performance Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers Identify opportunities to expand existing customer operations and develop additional business 1-4. Process Improvement & Operational Innovation Leverage WMS capabilities to improve operational efficiency Lead the implementation and operation of warehouse automation and robotics Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean Six Sigma methodologies Standardize operational processes and improve productivity 1-5. Safety & Compliance Oversee warehouse safety and compliance with applicable regulations Manage SOPs and safety training programs Effectively lead a diverse, multilingual frontline workforce 2) Qualifications 7+ years of leadership experience in a large-scale operating environment — logistics, fulfillment, manufacturing, or production Direct experience managing a frontline workforce of 50+ people (warehouse, manufacturing plant, or comparable setting) 3+ years of experience managing multiple departments or a team of managers Experience running and managing frontline operations in a multi-shift environment Experience managing operating budgets and workforce planning Track record of developing site leaders and managers and building leadership structure Legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire Spanish language proficiency (preferred) Korean language proficiency (preferred)
