Full Job Description Position Summary:
City Wide Property Services is seeking an experienced Landscape Operations Manager to lead our commercial landscape operations across the Greater Sacramento region . This senior leadership position oversees our three core landscape service divisions— Maintenance, Enhancements, and Irrigation departments while partnering with our sales team to support new business opportunities and deliver exceptional service to our clients. The ideal candidate is a proven leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at building strong teams, and is committed to operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement. Qualifications Must possess a valid California driver's license. DMV driving record (MVR) check required . Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in commercial landscape operations, including at least 3 years in a management role . Strong knowledge of landscape maintenance, irrigation systems, landscape enhancements, crew leadership, and service delivery. Active California Qualified Applicator License (QAL) or Qualified Applicator Certificate (QAC) - Category B (Landscape Maintenance) required, with demonstrated experience in weed control and herbicide applications. Thorough understanding of California landscape regulations, MWELO water efficiency standards, and Cal/OSHA safety requirements. Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and customer service skills. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
Operations Leadership Provide strategic and operational leadership for the Maintenance, Enhancements, and Irrigation departments. Oversee all maintenance operations, including service crews, scheduling, time records, and overall service performance. Coordinate workflow and scheduling across all landscape divisions. Develop and implement strategies that improve efficiency, quality, and profitability. Client & Property Management Partner with the sales team by identifying landscape opportunities and providing technical expertise for proposals. Conduct routine property inspections, identify service needs, and implement corrective action plans. Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and outstanding customer service. Oversee irrigation monitoring, repairs, system upgrades, and water conservation programs. Team Leadership & Safety Determine staffing needs and prepare daily crew schedules. Recruit, train, mentor, and evaluate Crew Leaders and field employees. Lead safety initiatives, conduct regular safety meetings, and ensure compliance with all Cal/OSHA regulations. Operations & Reporting Maintain accurate production reports, activity logs, and operational documentation. Manage company fleet, equipment, and departmental resources. Utilize the City Wide internal portal and company systems to support efficient operations. Collaborate with senior leadership on departmental goals, performance, and strategic initiatives. Perform other duties as assigned.
Pay:
$95,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
