$95,175 annual base salary + 8% annual bonus opportunity
Sign-On Bonus:
$2,000, paid upon completion of 30 days of employment

Company-paid health insurance (BCBS) Position Summary The Operations Manager oversees the day-to-day operational functions of TranSouth's transportation services, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and a high standard of service delivery. This role serves as a key link between field operations, dispatch, fleet maintenance, and leadership — driving performance, accountability, and continuous improvement across all operational functions.
Key Responsibilities Operational Oversight:
Supervise daily transportation operations to ensure on-time service delivery, route efficiency, and adherence to company and contract standards.
Team Leadership:
Manage site leads, dispatchers, and front-line staff; oversee scheduling, performance management, and workforce planning in partnership with HR.
Compliance & Contract Management:
Ensure all operations meet federal, state, and local regulatory requirements including DOT, FTA, ADA, and applicable contract terms. Serve as a point of contact for resolving field-level compliance issues.
Fleet & Safety Coordination:
Coordinate with fleet maintenance and safety teams to ensure vehicles are road-ready and compliant. Enforce safety protocols and participate in incident investigations and corrective actions.
Performance Monitoring:
Track KPIs and operational metrics; deliver regular reports to leadership, identify gaps, and implement corrective action plans when service or compliance issues arise.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Partner with HR, Fleet, Safety, and Finance teams to ensure cohesive, efficient operations. Provide input during contract renewals and business development efforts.
Client Relations:
Maintain professional relationships with contract officers and client representatives; proactively address service concerns and ensure customer satisfaction. Qualifications 5+ years of experience in transportation operations, logistics, or related field; NEMT or federal contract experience preferred. Demonstrated leadership and personnel management skills across diverse teams. Strong understanding of DOT, FTA, and ADA compliance requirements. Proficiency with fleet and dispatch systems (e.g., Samsara, CTS TripMaster) and Microsoft Office. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Valid driver's license required.
