In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily store activities, manage team performance, and ensure exceptional customer service. Your leadership will drive operational excellence, optimize inventory management, and foster a positive shopping environment. The ideal candidate is energetic, highly organized, and possesses strong management skills to motivate teams and streamline processes for maximum efficiency. Responsibilities Lead and supervise daily store operations, including sales, customer service, inventory control, and cash handling. Recruit, interview, and onboard new team members while providing ongoing training and development to enhance their skills. Manage employee orientation programs to ensure staff are well-informed about company policies and customer service standards. Oversee purchasing, merchandising, pricing strategies, and stock replenishment to maximize sales opportunities. Implement effective inventory management practices to reduce shrinkage and maintain accurate stock levels. Handle payroll processing, bookkeeping tasks, and manage budgets to support store financial health. Utilize POS (Point of Sale) systems for transactions, sales tracking, and reporting; ensure smooth cashier operations. Develop marketing initiatives to attract customers and promote store promotions or special events. Maintain excellent communication with staff through regular meetings; foster a team-oriented environment focused on customer satisfaction. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, store policies, and legal requirements across all operational areas. Experience Proven management experience in retail or grocery store environments with a focus on supervising teams and daily operations. Strong background in retail math, sales management, and retail management principles. Demonstrated skills in negotiation, employee training & development, and leadership to motivate staff effectively. Experience with inventory management systems, POS technology, cash handling procedures, and merchandising techniques. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases effectively. Prior experience in recruiting, interviewing candidates, payroll administration, bookkeeping, and budgeting is preferred. Excellent organizational skills combined with effective communication skills to coordinate multiple tasks seamlessly.
