Overview We are seeking a dynamic and strategic regional operations manager to lead and optimize operations across multiple locations within California for a logistics company. Responsibilities Develop and implement regional operational strategies aligned with overall business objectives, ensuring efficiency and scalability. Oversee multiple site operations with an employee count of 200 plus employees, including staffing, resource allocation, process improvements, and compliance standards. Manage profit & loss statements for the region, analyzing financial data to identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue enhancement. Lead, motivate, and develop regional teams through effective management practices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability. Collaborate with executive-level teams to communicate regional performance metrics, strategic plans, and operational challenges. Utilize Excel data analysis tools to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), identify trends, and inform strategic decision-making. Implement lean management principles to optimize workflows, reduce waste, and enhance overall operational efficiency. Conduct regular supervisory reviews, provide managerial communication feedback, and support team development programs. Skills Proven management experience with a focus on operations management at a regional or multi-site level. Must have experience managing larger employers of 200 employees plus. Some logistics experience preferred. Strong financial management skills, including profit & loss analysis and budget oversight. Expertise in Excel data analysis for reporting, forecasting, and strategic planning purposes. Demonstrated project management capabilities with a track record of successful process improvements. Exceptional managerial communication skills to engage with teams at all levels and executive stakeholders. Knowledge of lean management techniques to enhance operational efficiency and reduce waste. Experience in business development initiatives that expand market presence or improve existing operations. Must be willing to travel between offices throughout California. Must have a minimum of a bachelor's degree.
