We believe every guest should leave feeling like they've discovered something special, and we're looking for someone who shares that passion. ### Position Summary The Tasting Room Associate is responsible for creating memorable guest experiences while supporting the daily operations of the tasting room. This role combines hospitality, wine education, retail sales, wine club growth, and event support. The ideal candidate is personable, reliable, self-motivated, and enjoys building genuine relationships with guests. Friday availability is required, with additional weekday, evening, and holiday shifts scheduled as needed based on business needs and special events. ### Responsibilities Guest Experience

• Welcome every guest with warmth and professionalism.
• Lead engaging wine tastings and educate guests about CrossHatch Winery, our wines, and our story.
• Provide exceptional hospitality that encourages repeat visits and referrals.
• Build lasting relationships with guests and Wine Club members. Sales & Wine Club
• Meet and exceed tasting room sales goals.
• Introduce guests to the benefits of joining the CrossHatch Wine Club.
• Process wine sales, shipments, and club memberships accurately.
• Recommend wines based on guests' preferences. Tasting Room Operations
• Open and close the tasting room following established procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting environment.
• Restock wine, merchandise, and hospitality supplies.
• Accurately process transactions using the point-of-sale system.
• Assist with inventory counts as needed. Events & Marketing
• Support winery events, wine club pickup parties, and private tastings.
• Assist with event setup and breakdown.
• Help promote winery events and experiences through guest interactions and social media when appropriate. ### Qualifications
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Friendly, energetic, and hospitality-focused personality.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Sales or hospitality experience preferred.
• Wine knowledge is a plus, but a willingness to learn is essential.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for extended periods. ### Schedule

• Required:

  Every Friday.
• Additional weekday, evening, and holiday shifts as needed.
