We serve homeowners, architects, interior designers, builders, and developers throughout Southern California. The Role We are seeking a hands-on Director of Operations to oversee design, sales growth, procurement, marketing, and project delivery. This position reports directly to the founders, manages the Design Manager, and offers a path to Vice President of Operations . Responsibilities Manage the Design Manager and oversee production-ready kitchen, cabinetry, closet, and furniture designs. Ensure the accuracy of drawings, estimates, proposals, specifications, and production orders. Coordinate procurement and technical communication with Italian manufacturers. Manage international shipping, receiving, warehousing, delivery, installation, and project closeout. Select, schedule, and oversee third-party installers and construction contractors. Track project schedules, budgets, margins, milestones, and quality. Build the sales organization, recruit outside sales representatives, and establish performance goals. Manage digital marketing, lead generation, and campaign performance. Maintain CRM accuracy and develop an integrated ERP workflow from lead intake through project delivery. Create scalable procedures for estimating, ordering, project management, and reporting. Obtain professional photography, client testimonials, and other marketing materials after project completion. Deliver an exceptional experience for clients and trade partners. Required Qualifications Minimum three years of direct kitchen/cabinetry design or cabinetry manufacturing experience Proficiency in SketchUp Experience preparing detailed estimates, proposals, and production orders Strong knowledge of residential construction, installation, and procurement Experience managing employees, vendors, third-party installers, contractors, and multiple projects Strong commercial judgment and experience supporting sales growth Excellent leadership, communication, organization, and attention to detail Preferred Qualifications Experience with European cabinetry or furniture manufacturers Familiarity with Veneta Cucine, Sangiacomo, Tumidei, or similar Italian brands Proficiency in 3Cad Experience with international logistics and supply-chain coordination Fluency in Italian or Russian Compensation and Growth $25,000-$40,000 base salary , depending on experience $50,000 commission draw Total annual base and draw (Minimum): $75,000-$90,000 2.5%-7.5% commission on product sales (uncapped), anticipated to achieve $150k in 2027 based on projected sales growth rates and $200k in 2028.
