FULL DESCRIPTION

: A growing, highly regulated manufacturing organization in the South Bay area is seeking an experienced Operational Excellence Manager to lead enterprise-wide continuous improvement and operational transformation initiatives. This individual will partner closely with executive leadership to drive performance optimization, operational maturity, and a culture centered around data-driven decision making and Lean leadership. This is a high-visibility role with the opportunity to influence strategy, improve cross-functional execution, and modernize operational systems within a complex manufacturing environment. The selected candidate will be responsible for: Lead operational excellence and transformation initiatives that improve productivity, quality, throughput, and overall business performance Partner with site leadership to execute strategic priorities and drive continuous improvement across operations Develop KPI frameworks, operational review routines, dashboards, and performance management processes Lead Lean Six Sigma initiatives including process optimization, value stream improvements, and root cause problem solving Drive operational efficiency through waste reduction, process standardization, and capacity optimization Support digital transformation initiatives involving ERP, MES, analytics, automation, and reporting tools Ensure operational improvements align with quality, compliance, and risk reduction objectives within regulated manufacturing environments Champion a culture of accountability, data-driven decision making, and continuous improvement across cross-functional teams Lead change management efforts and mentor leaders on Lean leadership and operational best practices Manage improvement project portfolios, business cases, ROI tracking, and executive-level progress reporting The selected candidate will also possess: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Life Sciences, Business, or related field 5+ years of experience in Operational Excellence, Continuous Improvement, Manufacturing Excellence, or Process Improvement leadership roles Proven success leading large-scale transformation initiatives within regulated or complex manufacturing environments Experience supporting high-volume manufacturing, pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, chemical, food, or industrial production operations
