Department Summary Our legal teams support the innovators driving the growth and success of EchoStar and its subsidiaries. From identifying and supporting a variety of corporate legal matters to negotiating the industry's evolving legal landscape, our corporate counselors bring their own kind of invention to effect positive change across the company. Job Duties and Responsibilities Candidates must be willing to participate in at least one in-person interview. The Legal Operations Program Manager supports day-to-day operations and compliance initiatives within the Legal Department. This role drives operational excellence by administering legal systems, organizing data, and enabling the adoption of AI tools. Key efforts focus on streamlining workflows across cross-functional teams like HR and IT to enhance service quality and departmental effectiveness. What Success Looks Like (Objectives): Administer legal technology platforms, including e-billing, contract management, document management systems, and AI tools Maintain the review process for AI in employment compliance by managing initial submission evaluations Structure and organize legal records to improve data accessibility across the department Generate dashboards and metrics tracking compliance performance to drive data-based decision-making Coordinate vendor management activities, tracking performance, supporting contract renewals, and managing records Implement process improvements and knowledge governance frameworks that support AI adoption and team efficiency Skills, Experience and Requirements Core Skills and Competencies (What you'll bring): AI literacy and application, specifically familiarity with emerging legal-specific AI tools and technology trends Strong analytical ability to interpret complex data and compile actionable reports Project management expertise to handle multiple initiatives and consistently meet overlapping deadlines Cross-functional collaboration skills to partner with IT and HR teams during system implementation Exceptional written and oral communication skills paired with a strong reputation for integrity and ethics High detail orientation and a strong bias for action in executing operational workflows
