Approximately 30-32 hours per week
Schedule:
Flexible, event-based schedule; Saturday availability is required Fiona's Deli and Bakery is looking for a dependable, organized, and hands-on Catering Operations Coordinator to join our team. You'll help make sure our catering orders and events are packed correctly, delivered on time, set up professionally, and returned with all equipment accounted for. You'll also help keep our catering equipment, storage areas, and delivery vehicles clean, organized, stocked, and ready for the next event. When you aren't working on deliveries or events, you'll assist our catering kitchen with tasks such as assembling platters, portioning items, packaging food, labeling orders, and organizing completed catering orders. What You'll Do Review event details, packing lists, timelines, and special instructions. Pull, count, organize, and load food, beverages, equipment, and supplies. Drive Fiona's catering vehicles to deliveries and off-premise events. Unload and professionally set up catering orders at client locations. Communicate with customers during arrival, delivery, and setup.. Stay and assist with staffed events under the direction of the event lead. Clean, inspect, organize, and maintain catering equipment and storage areas. Maintain established supply levels for chafers, serving utensils, beverage equipment, disposables, emergency boxes, and other catering supplies. Report missing, damaged, or replacement equipment needs to the sales office. Keep catering vehicles clean, fueled, stocked, and ready for service. Report vehicle damage, warning lights, or maintenance concerns. Assist the catering kitchen with plattering, skewering, portioning, packaging, garnishing, labeling, and organizing orders. Maintain clean work areas and follow food-safety and sanitation procedures. Schedule Requirements Our catering schedule changes based on deliveries, events, and production needs. This position requires flexibility. Approximately 30-32 hours per week Must be available to work every Saturday Fiona's is closed on Sundays Must be available for early mornings, daytime shifts, and evenings Scheduled hours will vary depending on our event calendar What We're Looking For Dependable, punctual, and able to complete tasks with limited supervision Organized and detail-oriented Comfortable managing several priorities in a fast-paced environment Friendly, professional, and confident when interacting with customers Calm and capable when plans change or unexpected problems arise Willing to work cooperatively and help wherever needed Comfortable working in kitchens, vehicles, storage areas, and event spaces Previous catering, kitchen, hospitality, delivery, or event experience is helpful but not required Valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record are required Physical Requirements Because we provide off-premise catering, every event location is different. This position requires the ability to: Stand and walk for extended periods Bend, reach, push, pull, and perform repetitive preparation and packing tasks Regularly lift and carry equipment and supplies, help team-lift heavier items Load and unload catering vehicles Carry food and equipment up stairs and across grass, uneven surfaces, parking areas, and longer distances Work indoors and outdoors in changing weather and event conditions Benefits Competitive hourly wages We proudly pool tips!
