Job Description

Overview Vacation Rental Collective (VRC) is seeking a dynamic and service-driven Operations Manager to lead day-to-day operations in our Vail/Beaver Creek, Colorado market. In this vital role, you'll be the on-the-ground ambassador for our 70+ unit vacation rental portfolio, delivering exceptional support to guests, owners, and partners across phone, email, and in-person interactions. Your local market knowledge and hospitality passion will drive guest satisfaction, owner trust, and operational excellence. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional who loves the Vail/Beaver Creek lifestyle and thrives on creating memorable guest experiences.
Compensation:
$65,000-$80,000 per year, depending on experience. Duties Process all online reservations and respond to phone calls, emails, and texts in a timely, friendly, and professional manner (8am-10pm coverage). Nights and weekends required. Field inquiries from prospective guests and assist current guests with reservation questions and in-stay troubleshooting Conduct property inspections and enforce VRC's quality assurance standards across the portfolio Manage and coordinate relationships with third-party vendors and local service providers Oversee owner relations and communication, including onboarding and liaison support Manage and resolve guest disputes and complex situations, respond to guest reviews, and ensure listings are accurately displayed across distribution channels Manage payments and commission remittances with accuracy and integrity Lead and support VRC team members within the Vail/Beaver Creek market Qualifications Self-motivated with strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills Proven ability to lead and manage a team in a fast-paced, guest-facing environment Friendly, outgoing, and service-oriented with excellent guest and owner relations experience Highly organized with the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and stay calm under pressure Creative problem-solver with strong local knowledge of the Vail/Beaver Creek community Proficient with computers, word processing, property management software, and spreadsheet tools Working knowledge of accounting and financial processes; revenue/yield management and rate-setting experience preferred 5+ years of hospitality or related industry experience and/or a degree in hospitality, tourism, or business management (education/experience may be substituted) Ability to establish positive working relationships with owners, coworkers, vendors, and municipal staff Must be able to relocate to Vail/Beaver Creek, CO before starting Join us as an Operations Manager and become a memorable ambassador for the VRC brand!
