Short-Term Rental Cleaning ManagerPosition Summary The Cleaning Manager is responsible for ensuring every Atomic Stays property is cleaned, staged, and guest-ready before every arrival. This role oversees the company's cleaning operation by managing cleaning vendors, driving quality standards, optimizing costs, and ensuring flawless execution across every turnover. Success in this role is measured by delivering consistently exceptional cleaning quality while minimizing guest issues, maximizing operational efficiency, and protecting homeowner assets. Primary KPI Deliver a consistently five-star clean while optimizing operational efficiency and cleaning costs.
Primary metrics include:
Guest cleanliness review scores Cleaning quality inspection pass rate On-time turnover completion Cleaning cost per turnover Preventable guest cleanliness complaints Vendor performance score Same-day turnover success rate Property readiness before check-in Primary ResponsibilitiesCleaning Operations Own the end-to-end turnover process across all managed properties. Ensure every property is guest-ready prior to check-in. Coordinate cleaning schedules to support occupancy and operational needs. Manage same-day turns and high-volume turnover periods. Develop contingency plans for schedule changes and emergencies. Vendor Management Recruit, onboard, train, and manage professional cleaning partners. Build and maintain strong vendor relationships. Evaluate cleaner performance through inspections and guest feedback. Hold vendors accountable to Atomic Stays quality standards. Develop backup vendor networks for every market. Negotiate pricing and manage vendor agreements. Quality Assurance Establish and continuously improve company cleaning standards. Monitor inspection results and cleanliness trends. Analyze guest feedback related to cleanliness. Work closely with Property Inspectors to resolve recurring quality issues. Ensure proper staging, presentation, and amenity standards across every property. Performance Management Track vendor KPIs and scorecards. Conduct regular vendor reviews. Coach vendors to improve quality and efficiency. Remove consistently underperforming vendors. Recognize and reward high-performing cleaning partners. Inventory & Supplies Ensure every property maintains required guest supplies. Monitor linen inventory and replacement schedules. Manage consumables, toiletries, and cleaning supply programs. Identify opportunities to standardize inventory across the portfolio. Cost Management Manage cleaning expenses within budget. Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency. Reduce unnecessary re-cleans and emergency service costs. Improve labor utilization while maintaining quality. Continuously evaluate pricing and vendor performance.

Guest Support Maintenance Property Inspectors Operations Revenue Management Onboarding to ensure every home is delivered to guests in exceptional condition. Qualifications 3+ years of hospitality, housekeeping, operations, or property management experience Experience managing vendors or service providers Strong organizational and scheduling skills Excellent communication skills Ability to solve problems under pressure Comfortable using property management and scheduling software Highly detail-oriented Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously

Pay:
$52,405.56 - $63,112.07 per year
