Job Description

Dental Operations Manager | General + Full-Arch Surgical Practice $80,000 - $90,000/year plus performance incentives We're a general and surgical dental practice running a serious full mouth resortation process alongside a busy general dentistry side. We're looking for an operations leader who has already done this job at a high level and wants to do it somewhere that will actually let them run. This role is not for you if: You've never sold full-arch permanent teeth to a patient yourself. Not observed it. Sold it, scheduled it, and managed the case. You've never written a call script, run a call audit, or built an optimized doctor and hygiene schedule from scratch. You've never coached a doctor on treatment acceptance and watched the numbers move because of it. Your references top out at colleagues, not your CEO or owners. We will be calling CEOs and practice owners you've worked under, and we expect them to say you grew their business. You don't incorporate AI into your own life. We run an AI-assisted operation. The ideal candidate already uses AI daily and may even have their own AI assistant built. If that sentence excites you instead of confusing you, keep reading. This role is for you if: You read production and collections reports the way other people read the news. You can look at a schedule and see the money leaking out of it. When a front desk call goes sideways, you don't just notice, you pull the recording, audit it, rewrite the script, and train the fix. You've managed full-arch implant cases from consult to conversion and you know that a $30,000 case is won or lost in how the conversation and follow-up is handlded and organized. You take ownership of everything in your world. When something breaks, your first question is what you could have done to prevent it, and your second question is how to make sure it never happens again. What you'll own: Daily operations across the general and surgical sides of the practice Schedule design and optimization for doctors and hygiene based on driving new patient volume Call scripts, call audits, and front office phone performance and monitor booking rates, cancellation, no-show Full-arch case coordination and treatment presentation Profitability analysis: production, collections, overhead, and closing the gaps you find Doctor coaching on diagnosis and treatment acceptance Hiring, onboarding, and building a front office team that stays Training systems, so the practice runs on process & SOP, plus training on new staff
