VP, Operations Position Summary The Production Supervisor leads the day-to-day manufacturing operations at the Bristol facility, ensuring production goals, safety, quality, and customer commitments are achieved. The position supervises production employees, directs workflow, manages labor resources, and serves as the onsite operational leader. Working under the direction of the VP of Operations, the Production Supervisor exercises independent judgment in assigning work, setting priorities, resolving operational issues, and supporting continuous improvement. While the supervisor may occasionally assist with production to address urgent operational needs or train employees, the primary duty of this position is supervising employees and managing facility operations. Must be flexible to work outside normal business hours as required. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Supervisory Responsibilities Directly supervise Production Associates, Senior Production Associates, and the Maintenance Technician. Assign work, establish production priorities, and monitor daily performance. Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching and development. Recommend hiring, promotions, discipline, and termination decisions. Approve time records, attendance, and PTO requests. Maintain staffing levels and cross-training plans. Operational Leadership Lead daily production scheduling and workflow. Coordinate production, maintenance, inventory, and purchasing activities. Monitor KPIs for safety, quality, delivery, labor efficiency, and productivity. Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities. Communicate operational priorities and issues to the VP of Operations. Inventory, Purchasing & Quality Monitor inventory accuracy and material availability. Approve routine operational purchases within delegated authority. Ensure products meet company quality standards. Support supplier coordination and inventory control. Safety & Compliance Promote a safe work environment and enforce company policies. Conduct safety observations and support incident investigations. Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety procedures. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred. 3 - 7 years of manufacturing or operations experience. Prior supervisory experience required. Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, scheduling, inventory, and continuous improvement skills. Pay:
$85,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
