Overview We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Operations Manager to lead our operational activities, ensuring seamless management of daily business functions. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee a broad range of responsibilities that support our mission to deliver exceptional service and strategic financial solutions. The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader with strong organizational skills, capable of managing teams and optimizing operational efficiency in a fast-paced environment. Key Duties and Responsibilities 1. Operational Management Oversee daily business operations and workflows. Monitor operational performance and service levels. Develop and implement operational procedures and controls. Identify and resolve operational issues and bottlenecks. Oversee operations across the three office locations of the firm Role is based out of Cheshire, CT however travel to Southport, CT and Madison, CT on occasion is expected within the role 2. Management of Event Calendar Oversee the coordination of our seminar programs Coordination of firms' client appreciation events Maintain CRM prospecting system to monitor and track current prospecting database and track activity post seminars Negotiate contracts and coordinate services with venues, caterers, decorators, and entertainment providers. 3. Process Improvement Analyze existing processes and recommend improvements. Lead automation and efficiency initiatives. Implement best practices to reduce costs and increase productivity. Support digital transformation and technology adoption. 4. Risk and Compliance Management Ensure adherence to financial regulations, policies, and procedures. Monitor operational risks and implement mitigation strategies. Coordinate audits and regulatory examinations. Maintain strong internal controls to prevent fraud and errors. Ensure compliance with Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Know Your Customer (KYC), and other regulatory requirements. 5. Financial Operations Oversight Ensure accurate recordkeeping and documentation. Budget for ongoing workshops and annual client events. 6. Team Leadership and Management Manage, mentor, and develop staff. Set team goals and performance expectations. Conduct performance evaluations and coaching sessions. Coordinate staffing, training, and workforce planning. Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. 7. Client and Stakeholder Support Collaborate with clients, vendors, and business partners. Address operational inquiries and escalations. Work closely with advisors and support team. Ensure a high level of customer service and operational excellence. 8. Technology and Systems Management Oversee operational systems and platforms. Participate in system implementations, upgrades, and testing. Ensure data integrity and system security. Identify opportunities for automation and reporting enhancements. 9. Reporting and Analytics Prepare and present operational performance reports. Analyze trends and recommend corrective actions. Support management decision-making through data analysis.
Experience:
Bachelor's Degree attained Financial services operations knowledge Risk management and regulatory compliance expertise Demonstrated supervisory experience with team management and managerial communication skills Process improvement and project management Analytical and problem-solving skills Strong communication and stakeholder management Excel, reporting tools, and financial systems proficiency Knowledge of banking, investment, insurance, or wealth management operations Strong customer service experience
Pay:
$120,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
