Job Description

Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Fuel Operations Manager to lead our heating oil and propane delivery operations. This role is responsible for overseeing daily delivery operations, dispatch, fleet coordination, employee development, safety, and operational performance. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving problems, and is passionate about developing people while improving efficiency and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Lead and coach fuel delivery drivers, dispatchers, and support staff. Oversee daily heating oil and propane delivery operations. Monitor delivery schedules, routing, and labor efficiency. Ensure compliance with DOT, OSHA, and company safety standards. Manage fleet utilization and coordinate vehicle maintenance. Monitor operational KPIs and identify opportunities for improvement. Resolve operational and customer service issues in a timely manner. Conduct regular team meetings, training, and performance coaching. Collaborate with Customer Experience, Service, Sales, and Finance teams. Help drive a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Qualifications 5+ years of leadership experience in fuel delivery, logistics, transportation, or operations management. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Experience managing employees in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of DOT regulations and fleet operations preferred. Experience with routing, dispatch, or fuel management software is a plus. Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel. What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who: Leads by example. Pay:
$75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
