Full Job Description Position Title:
Operations Manager Position Summary:
The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing daily administration of the office, and shipping & receiving while providing leadership and support to assigned staff. This role ensures efficient workflow, effective communication between departments, accurate billing and vendor invoice processing, and appropriate scheduling and coordination of shipping and receiving activities. The ideal candidate is highly organized, professional, and detail-oriented, with leadership or management experience, prior administrative experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office programs.

Chief Operating Officer Salary:
Annual salary range of $70,000 - $85,000; exempt salaried position.
Shift:
7:30am - 4pm (30-minute lunch break), hours are semi-flexible with approval
Duties and Responsibilities:
Oversee daily administration of office and shipping &receiving across applicable departments. Communicate effectively with department leaders and relay key operational information from senior management. Coordinating meetings and appointments Providing general administrative support to staff. Delegate tasks, monitor follow-through, and support timely completion of departmental priorities. Organizing administrative procedures Facilitating effective communication Ensuring the smooth operation of the office and the warehouse/shipping Providing HR support Supervise assigned staff, including scheduling, task delegation, performance follow-up, day-to-day guidance, and staffing coverage. Respond to off-hours operational calls as needed to support business continuity and timely issue resolution. Answer telephones and direct the caller to appropriate associate; transfer caller to voice mailbox when associate is unavailable; takes and retrieves messages Responsible for customer billing Entering and verifying vendor invoices Prepare and distribute aging reports and past-due notices to support timely collections and account follow-up. Scheduling logistics for shipping & receiving and maintaining a daily schedule for shipping staff Organizing and maintaining shipping and warehouse areas Completing monthly inventory of finished goods Perform other related duties as assigned. Exceptional customer service Consistently demonstrate flexibility, good judgement and adhere to safety standards. Participate as a member of the New England Nonwovens Team. Adhere to all New England Nonwovens policies, procedures, and guidelines. Always ensure a professional attitude and appearance and in compliance with the New England Nonwovens Code of Conduct. Skills and Qualifications Associate or bachelor's degree in business studies, administration, communications, human resources or any related field. 5+ years of office experience Required leadership or management experience, including staff supervision, task delegation, and performance follow-up. Strong time-management and people skills, flexibility, and multitasking ability Computer literacy; Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, data entry with aptitude to learn new software and systems Ability to work in a busy office with constant interruptions Good planning and organizational skills Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy and confidentiality Ability to work under minimal supervision. Well-developed verbal, listening, and written communications skills Ability to work independently or as a team player
Physical Requirements:
