This pivotal role ensures efficient operations across our eight local volunteer conferences and supports our Cape Coral Thrift Store to maximize resources for neighbors in need.
Duties Administration:
Maintain compliance records, manage vendor contracts, and support technology services.
Financial Oversight:
Partner with the Treasurer and bookkeeper to prepare annual budgets, manage AP, complete quarterly/annual fiscal reports, and coordinate audits.
HR & Thrift Store Support:
Assist the Thrift Store Manager with staff recruitment, on-boarding, benefits, policy compliance, and employee handbook updates.
Council & Volunteer Support:
Prepare meeting agendas/reports, coordinate volunteer orientations, and track training completion.
Communications & Fundraising:
Manage the Council website, social media, and media relations; lead or assist with community fundraising events.
Requirements Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Nonprofit Management, Accounting, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience:
3-5 years of progressive experience in administrative or operational management.
Leadership:
Proven background supervising employees and managing organizational budgets.
Tech Skills:
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, and standard business software.
Compliance:
Ability to pass background fingerprinting and Diocesan safe environment training. Preferred Qualifications Experience working within a non-profit organization or retail/multi-site environment. Familiarity with Catholic faith-based ministries or Vincentian values. Knowledge of QuickBooks or non-profit accounting software.
