Job Description:
Provides feedback to team members on productivity and quality through random monthly audits. Supervises the clerical team, ensuring timely completion of duties, workflow assignment, attendance monitoring, and PTO requests. Evaluates processes and creates/conducts orientation and training for new employees. Coordinates with management, managed care, vendors, and various hospital management team members to ensure timely workflow processing. Assists manager with aggregation and preparation of various departmental reports. Maintains knowledge of organizational policies, medical staff rules and regulations, and federal and state guidelines regarding EMR completion and release of information practices. Monitors weekly time and attendance reports for accuracy and completeness, notifying employees and manager of any errors or discrepancies. Conducts regular one-on-one meetings and annual performance evaluations with employees, maintaining positive morale to minimize staff turnover. Attends meetings as requested by department leadership. Monitors department supply inventory and orders as appropriate. Other duties as assigned. Monitors team productivity and quality, ensuring daily, weekly, and monthly department goals are met.
