We serve commercial, retail, healthcare, hospitality, religious, and residential properties throughout Central Florida. Position Overview We are seeking an experienced and driven Production Manager to lead and oversee our landscape construction field operations. This role is responsible for managing daily crew execution, coordinating materials and equipment, tracking labor hours, and ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to company standards. The Production Manager will serve as a key field leader, working closely with project management and operations to keep crews productive, jobs on schedule, and resources properly allocated. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and confident leading teams in a fast-paced construction environment. Key Responsibilities Field Production & Crew Oversight Lead and oversee daily operations for landscape construction crews Supervise crew leaders and field staff to ensure projects are executed safely and efficiently Coordinate daily work assignments, crew goals, and production expectations Monitor jobsite progress and ensure production standards and quality expectations are met Set the pace in the field to maximize labor efficiency and meet man-hour budgets Conduct routine jobsite visits to support crews, solve problems, and maintain accountability Materials, Equipment & Logistics Order and coordinate materials needed for active construction projects Ensure materials, equipment, and subcontractors are available and aligned with project schedules Work closely with the Fleet Mechanic to maintain proper operation and readiness of trucks, trailers, and equipment Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth movement of labor, materials, and resources between jobs Labor Tracking & Job Cost Awareness Track and manage crew man hours on all active projects Monitor labor performance and productivity against project budgets Communicate labor needs, field progress, and jobsite issues to project management and leadership Support job cost awareness by helping identify inefficiencies, delays, and production challenges in the field Leadership & Team Development Supervise, train, and develop field employees and crew leaders Support hiring, discipline, and performance management of direct reports Conduct routine check-ins and provide coaching to improve team performance Lead daily huddles and participate in production planning meetings Help create and reinforce training processes, systems, and field expectations Safety & Accountability Ensure all safety procedures and company policies are followed on every jobsite Report and document accidents, injuries, and property damage incidents Maintain a clean, organized, and professional jobsite environment Hold crews accountable to company standards, quality expectations, and core values Requirements Minimum of 3 years of experience in landscape construction, field operations, or related service industries Experience leading and supervising field crews Strong understanding of construction scheduling, production, and logistics Experience ordering materials and coordinating field resources Ability to track labor hours and monitor production efficiency Working knowledge of trucks, trailers, equipment, and tools used in the industry Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Valid Florida Driver's License Clean driving record Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus Comfortable working outdoors in Florida weather conditions Qualifications Highly organized and detail-oriented Strong sense of ownership and accountability Calm under pressure and able to manage changing priorities Natural leader who can motivate crews and maintain high standards Problem-solver who can think ahead and make sound field decisions Strong communicator who works well with both field teams and leadership Reliable, punctual, and able to follow through consistently Able to manage multiple moving parts in a fast-paced environment Working Schedule Full-time, in-person role Crews typically arrive at 6:30 AM or earlier Company work truck provided for field use Must be able to operate equipment, trucks, and lift up to 80 lbs. Must be comfortable with a physically active, highly seasonal role
