Implement a sales performance analysis system to track and evaluate the pharmacy's sales metrics, such as revenue from compounded medications, service lines, and patient adherence programs. Develop and manage the pharmacys operating budget, including expense control, revenue maximization, and monitoring financial performance by tracking key indicators such as revenue, expenses, and profitability. Oversee customer service delivery, ensuring patient satisfaction and resolving service-related issues promptly and professionally. Develop and implement programs to improve medication adherence, patient counseling, and education, coordinating with healthcare providers to ensure appropriate medication therapies and clinical support. Establish strong relationships with pharmaceutical suppliers, negotiating favorable purchasing contracts and implementing systems for tracking inventory usage, expiration dates, and medication shortages. Supervise, mentor, and manage a team of pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and administrative staff, ensuring appropriate staffing levels to maintain efficient operations and meet patient demand. Oversee recruitment, training, and performance evaluations of pharmacy personnel, developing and implementing staff development programs and continuing education initiatives. Foster a collaborative and efficient work environment, promoting teamwork and high-quality patient care. Develop and monitor operational policies and procedures to streamline the medication dispensing process and ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and accreditation standards. Implement cost control measures, optimize procurement processes, and oversee inventory management to ensure timely ordering and stocking of medications, supplies, and equipment while maintaining optimal stock levels. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including those established by the FDA, DEA, and Board of Pharmacy, while maintaining accurate records of all controlled substance inventories and conducting regular audits. Oversee the implementation and maintenance of pharmacy management software, electronic health records (EHRs), and other technologies that improve efficiency while collaborating with IT departments to ensure security and compliance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with executive leadership to develop long-term strategies for the pharmacys growth and expansion, analyzing market trends and patient demographics to identify opportunities for new service lines or areas of growth. Participate in organizational strategic planning meetings, providing insights on operational capabilities and patient care trends. Supervise four (4) Pharmacy Technicians.
