Develop and implement programs to improve medication adherence, patient counseling, and education, coordinating with healthcare providers to ensure appropriate medication therapies and clinical support. Establish strong relationships with pharmaceutical suppliers, negotiating favorable purchasing contracts and implementing systems for tracking inventory usage, expiration dates, and medication shortages. Supervise, mentor, and manage a team of pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and administrative staff, ensuring appropriate staffing levels to maintain efficient operations and meet patient demand.
