The Slot Supervisor is responsible for assisting Slot Department Management in all areas of Slot Operations while upholding all policies, procedures, and gaming regulations. Slot Supervisor monitors the gaming floor to ensure our guest's needs are being met each visit. They also continuously monitor all slot attendants to ensure they are performing their assigned duties to our departmental standards. Essential duties include, but are not limited to: Monitors and evaluates all slot staff daily to ensure we are in compliance with Slot Department Policy & Procedures, Title 31 and gaming regulations, all while ensuring our guest service standards are being met. Organizes the assigned shift and area including; creating and communicating daily pre-shift meetings, schedules, floor rotations, breaks and staffing levels. Performs coaching and counseling as assigned. Issue evaluations, and disciplinary action documentation. Must maintain confidentiality at all times; internal and external guests. Assists in training and evaluating employees in a fair and consistent manner. Ensures assigned slot floor staff responds to guest service requests, machine service lights, radio service calls or management instructions. Verifies slot jackpot pay outs $50,000 and over. Ensuring all slot machines is in working order. Notifies slot technical department of any repairs needed. Promotes positive guests experiences by answering questions, resolving disputes, locating beverage servers, service recoveries, etc Promotes positive employee relations at all times. Keeps Slot Shift Manager informed of all pertinent business information, staff issues/concerns and any irregularities in play Continually observes players and machines to safeguard against theft and ensures the security and integrity of all casino property. Supports all departmental and property-wide decisions or changes Maintains a clean, safe hazard-free work environment within the area of responsibility. Assist in updating departmental policies, procedures, and sops. Conducts interviews and makes hiring recommendations. Ensures employee morale is high by continuously checking in with the front line, while giving suggestions to improve it as needed. Invest in positive growth to ensure return visits, by reviewing information from our GEM service scores. Maintains communication and cooperation with other shifts and departments. All other job related duties assigned by Slot Operations Management.Requirements:
Slot experience; must have a minimum of 3 years in slot operations or equivalent. Must be able to multi-task, meet assigned deadlines, and mentor a team. Must be flexible and available to work all shifts, holidays, and weekends. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Must have problem solving skills, and able to perform under pressure. Must be able to effectively communicate in English; both written and oral forms. Requires tact and diplomacy in dealing with the public and staff, as well as the ability to maintain strict confidentiality of classified information Must possess the ability to act in a leadership capacity within a fast paced and goal oriented environment. Must have interpersonal skills to deal with all business related contacts. Must be competent with various PC based software programs and possess excellent business sense and high professional ethics. Must attend all meeting and training as assigned. Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license.Work Environment:
Duties and responsibilities are typically performed on the Casino Floor in a fast-paced, guest-smoking environment, with constant exposure to general public and excessive noise. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, reach, bend, squat, kneel, twist, talk and listen. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
