Assistant Hospitality Manager (Part-Time) Gulfside Resorts, Indian Rocks Beach, Florida

• on assistant manager at Gulfside you're responsible for the day to day operations of running 17 cottages at three different properties on Indian Rocks Beach as well as contributing daily to the beach rental process.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Selling weekly cottage rentals via phone and email inquires that come through by developing an understanding of the product offered and the local area
• Assist in developing a strategy for off season rentals to increase sales
• Ensure all records are kept properly and consistently
• Organize, coordinate, while participating in, operations to ensure maximum efficiency
• Coordinate with housekeeping staff
• Assist with managing outdoor maintenance utilizing a hands on approach
• Ensure grounds and cottages are in pristine condition at all times
• Welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
• Addressing and escalating customer issues with a sense of urgency while problem solving to find a resolution
• Provide tours of the properties for the guest as well as informing them about the local area
• Assist with executing the arrival list weekly to ensure a flawless checkin/check out process for the guests
• Assist with planning events for the guest experience
• seeing them through start to finish and participating throughout the event.
• Checking rooms and common areas after cleaners to ensure pristine standards are consistent
• Walk properties daily to attend to guest needs as well as observe and execute any physical plant needs based on capabilities
• Develop local knowledge and relationships/networking with local businesses, competitors and welcome centers

REQUIREMENTS

• Proficiency in working in a macOS environment using iMac hardware
• Excellent organizational skills
• Outstanding communication skills
• both written and verbal
• Problem solving aptitude

• Proficient in English
• knowledge of additional languages is a plus
• An outgoing personality
• Capable to work 24 hours, Saturdays are required
• Flexible to rotate being on call to deal with guests emergencies
• Ability to work weekends and holidays
• Must have own vehicle and cell phone
• communication and punctuality are critical
• Requires the ability to lift and or/move up to 50 pounds
• Requires the ability to bend, twist and stand to perform normal job functions and the stamina to handle the physical demands of the job
• Frequently works outside in a hot environment
• all cottages are on the beach so must have the ability to withstand the Florida sun

Pay:

$17.00

• $20.

00 per hour Expected hours: 24.0 per week
