This position plays a key role in ensuring efficient job execution, strong referral relationships, quality control, and expansion into Melbourne and other potential service areas . The Operations Manager must be hands-on, dependable, and capable of managing operations in a fast-paced, on-call environment while maintaining professionalism and company standards. Key Responsibilities Operations & Field Oversight Dispatch and manage crews for water, mold, and reconstruction jobs Conduct daily meetings with Field Managers to review active jobs, schedules, staffing, and priorities Maintain full awareness of day-to-day operations , job statuses, and field challenges Coordinate and schedule reconstruction jobs with approved contractors and subcontractors Ensure proper documentation, photos, and job notes are completed and submitted timely Monitor job quality, timelines, and safety compliance Perform job-site visits and inspections as needed Refer jobs back to plumbers and referral partners who originated the loss Respond to emergency calls, work on-call, and work weekends as required Revenue, Growth & Business Development Earn 3% commission on reconstruction jobs where Wet Out Restoration receives 45% or greater of the reconstruction contract Earn 5% commission on water and mold jobs personally sourced Assist with expanding Wet Out Restoration in Melbourne and other target markets Build and maintain relationships with: Plumbers HVAC companies Property managers Local insurance brokers and adjusters Represent Wet Out Restoration at networking events, site visits, and partner meetings Support lead generation and referral follow-up efforts Leadership, Hiring & Staff Development Hire, onboard, train, supervise, and discipline field and operations staff Ensure crews are properly trained, certified, and compliant with company and industry standards Schedule staffing based on workload and job demands Enforce company policies, safety procedures, and performance expectations Conduct performance evaluations and recommend corrective actions when necessary Promote accountability, teamwork, and ethical behavior across all departments Communication & Administrative Coordination Communicate daily with office staff regarding scheduling, job progress, and operational needs Collaborate with ownership on operational planning and improvements Assist with internal reporting related to job performance, productivity, and profitability Support estimating, billing, and documentation processes when needed Ensure proper handoff of jobs between mitigation, mold, and reconstruction phases Quality Control & Compliance Ensure jobs meet company quality standards and customer expectations Confirm compliance with industry standards (IICRC, OSHA, safety protocols) Address customer concerns escalated from the field or office Participate in claim reviews and job audits when required Help maintain company licensing, insurance compliance, and vendor relationships Equipment, Vehicles & Resources Oversee proper use, care, and return of company equipment and vehicles Ensure company vehicle is used appropriately for business purposes Monitor equipment needs and report maintenance or replacement requirements Maintain professional appearance standards for crews and vehicles Qualifications 3-5+ years of experience in restoration operations, reconstruction, or field management Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Valid driver's license with clean driving record Willingness to work on-call, weekends, and emergency response situations Restoration and reconstruction experience strongly preferred Additional Duties Perform other duties as assigned to support company operations and growth Why Join Wet Out Restoration?
