F&B J1 Trainee Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants - 3.8 Miami Beach, FL Job Details $17 an hour 7 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Paid time off Vision insurance Qualifications Guest relations Event coordination Operations coordination Budget forecasting Cross-functional collaboration Leadership Entry level Cross-functional communication Food service management Full Job Description J-1 Food & Beverage Management Trainee The J-1 Food & Beverage Management Trainee participates in a structured training program designed to develop advanced hospitality leadership, food and beverage operations, banquet and event management, and departmental leadership skills. The trainee will work alongside experienced managers and supervisors to gain hands-on exposure to U.S. hospitality standards, guest service excellence, labor management, budgeting, forecasting, and team leadership. Responsibilities include observing and supporting daily restaurant and banquet operations, assisting with staff coordination, participating in departmental meetings, reviewing operational reports, and contributing to service quality initiatives. Throughout the program, the trainee will progressively build the knowledge, skills, and competencies necessary for future management roles within the hospitality and food & beverage industry.

Compensation:

The hourly pay rate for this role is $17. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401k, and many other benefits to eligible employees.
