FedEx Ground Business Contact (BC) / Operations Manager

Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and motivated Business Contact (BC) to oversee daily operations for FedEx Ground delivery routes. The BC serves as the primary operational leader responsible for driver management, safety compliance, service performance, fleet management, and communication with the FedEx station and ownership. This position is ideal for someone with FedEx Ground ISP experience, strong leadership skills, and the ability to manage a fast-paced logistics operation.

Badged FedEx Driver with BC experience. Expertise in DRO Route Planning Possess a strong work ethic and excellent communication skills Positive attitude to build team morale and retain drivers Motivation to positively lead a team of drivers to meet given metrics Problem solving skills
  • be able to make on the fly decisions if needed & also fill in on any work area needed. Strong communication skills Bilingual Spanish and English prefered

Responsibilities:
Arrive at the terminal no later than 8:00 am each day Complete dispatch Work with the terminal on disputes & hand sheets Ensure drivers complete a pre
  • post trip inspection of assigned trucks Ensure drivers complete all pick-ups daily Ensure drivers attempt all deliveries each day Ensure drivers code each package accordingly Assist drivers as needed Coordinate truck maintenance with mechanic Hold daily and weekly safety meetings Coordinate training & on-boarding of new drivers Communicate daily with AO Must live within 60 minute's of the (Miami) FL terminal or be moving there prior to starting this job
Pay:
$1,250.00
