Job Description

Store Manager
  • Franchise Overview:
    Franchisees typically rely on Store Manager to provide outstanding service, maintain a clean, customer friendly environment, stock and merchandise products, and operate the register. Franchisees expect Store Manager to demonstrate reliability, honesty, and greet customers with a smile. Duties of a Store Manager is listed below;
  • Hire and Train Employees
  • Attend weekly meetings with business consultants
  • Maintain clean and stocked store at all times
  • Performing daily cash reports, ordering and checking in deliveries.
  • Performing Banking procedures Including deposits and change.
  • Scheduling
  • Upselling and maintaining store for customer experience visits.
  • Honest, with high level of integrity and reliability and a leader to manage a team of 10-12 employees.
  • Salaried position and 7-Eleven experience is preferred.
What might you do? Provide prompt, efficient and courteous customer service Drive sales through effective communication with customers Maintain a clean, customer friendly environment in your franchisee's store Perform cash register (ring sales and maintain cash control) and be able to maintain high level of cleanliness in store. Perform all managerial activities, and other tasks included in your job assignments Forecast, order and stock merchandise (with appropriate training) Check in merchandise deliveries from vendors
Responsibilities:
While physical requirements for store employees may change depending on your franchisee, the position typically requires constant standing, bending, reaching, frequent lifting of 1-5 lbs, and occasional lifting of up to 40

  • Store Manager is required to work at least 50-55 hours per week.

Store Manager Duties:
Scheduling, Hiring, Training, Ordering, paperwork. Also, managing day to day operations, meeting with 7-eleven field consultants, keeping the store clean, stocked at all times at 7-11 standards. Managing employees, must have flexible schedule, ready to work any shift if needed. Must train multiple assistant managers. This is a Serious Job, and having an 7-eleven experience is a Plus.
Qualifications:
You acknowledge and understand that this position is for a potential employment opportunity at a 7-Eleven convenience store operated by an independent contractor franchisee of 7-Eleven, Inc., and is not for a potential employment opportunity at 7-Eleven, Inc. The information you provide will be provided directly to the franchisee. You must communicate directly with the franchisee who will conduct the entire hiring process. The franchisee is solely responsible for all hiring decisions and other employment matters and may contact you to request additional information or conduct an interview. 7-Eleven Franchisees are Independent Contractors who are solely responsible to control the manner and means of the day to day operation of their stores. As such, each Franchisee solely controls all aspects of his or her employment practices.
