Job Description

SITE / OPERATIONS MANAGER - NORTH CENTRAL FLORIDA
CamAg is seeking an experienced Site / Operations Manager to lead a growing rail-served industrial and bulk-material transloading operation in the North Central Florida area. This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for the overall safety, reliability, productivity, and day-to-day performance of the operation. The ideal candidate will have strong management experience and a background in industrial rail operations, rail switching, transloading, bulk material handling, terminal operations, or heavy industrial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage day-to-day site operations and operating personnel Oversee industrial rail switching, railcar movement, staging, placement, unloading, and transloading activities Manage bulk-material unloading, conveying, stockpiling, and inventory operations Supervise operators, conductors/ground personnel, material-handling employees, and maintenance personnel Maintain a strong safety-first culture , including job briefings, training, PPE compliance, incident prevention, and corrective actions Coordinate preventive maintenance and repairs for rail-moving, unloading, conveyor, and heavy industrial equipment Monitor productivity, equipment uptime, staffing, inventory, and overall operational performance Work closely with customers, railroad personnel, logistics staff, vendors, and company management Identify operational problems early and take ownership of resolving them before they affect safety or production
Ideal Background:
We are particularly interested in candidates with previous supervisory or management experience in: Industrial rail operations or railroad switching Transloading or terminal operations Bulk material handling Aggregate, cement, mining, port, manufacturing, or similar heavy industrial operations Conveyor and material-handling systems Industrial equipment and preventive maintenance Previous experience directly managing employees in an industrial environment is strongly preferred. The successful candidate will be a strong, hands-on leader who understands that safety comes first , holds employees accountable, communicates effectively, and knows how to keep a rail-served industrial operation running safely and efficiently.
