Operations Manager Salary:
$50K-$75

Bonus and/or Commissions Company Vehicle Primary Purpose Not an office job, Must be able to work outside Oversee the daily operations of a growing roll-off dumpster company, ensuring drivers, trucks, dumpsters, dispatch, customer service, and yard operations run efficiently. Responsibilities Operations Manage all day-to-day operations. Coordinate dispatch and routing. Ensure on-time deliveries, swaps, and pickups. Monitor daily production and driver performance. Solve operational issues quickly. Drivers Supervise CDL drivers. Handle scheduling, call-outs, coaching, and discipline. Conduct driver meetings and safety briefings. Review DVIRs and hours of service. Assist with hiring and training. Fleet Management Coordinate truck maintenance and repairs. Schedule preventative maintenance. Work with repair shops and vendors. Minimize truck downtime. Track registration, inspections, and compliance. Dumpster Management Track every dumpster in the field. Ensure inventory accuracy. Schedule repairs, painting, welding, and maintenance. Monitor utilization and availability. Reduce lost or misplaced dumpsters. Customer Service Assist office staff with customer issues. Resolve delivery challenges. Handle escalated customer concerns. Ensure service quality. Yard Management Maintain an organized yard. Coordinate equipment movement. Oversee cleanliness and safety. Manage inventory of supplies. Technology & Reporting Use dispatch software and GPS.
Track KPIs including:
Revenue per truck Driver productivity Missed pickups Truck downtime Dumpster utilization Customer satisfaction Qualifications 2 years in transportation, waste, trucking, construction, logistics, or heavy equipment. Strong leadership skills. Excellent organizational ability. Comfortable making decisions independently.
