The ideal candidate is a natural leader with a strong presence on the floor, excellent communication skills, and a genuine passion for hospitality, food, wine, and beverage. The FOH Manager will be a hands-on leader responsible for maintaining service standards, supporting and developing the FOH team, ensuring operational excellence, and creating a polished and welcoming guest experience. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to lead by example while maintaining a positive and professional team culture. A strong knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktails, and beverage service is essential. The ideal candidate will also be comfortable training staff, driving sales, managing labor, and ensuring consistent execution of restaurant systems and standards. Minimum Qualifications Proven experience as a FOH Manager, Assistant General Manager, or senior hospitality leader in a high-volume restaurant. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop front-of-house teams. Strong floor presence with the ability to manage service effectively during high-volume periods. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Experience with scheduling, labor management, and daily operational controls. Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktails, and beverage service standards. Experience with guest relations and resolving guest concerns professionally. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Preferred Qualifications Fine dining, upscale casual, luxury hospitality, or high-volume restaurant experience preferred. Proven experience with staff training and development. Familiarity with Toast POS systems, reservation platforms, inventory systems, and restaurant reporting tools. Advanced wine education or certification is a plus. Knowledge of Greek and Mediterranean cuisine, culture, and hospitality traditions is a plus. Understanding of restaurant financials, labor controls, beverage costs, and cost-of-goods management. Experience working in a rooftop, high-energy, or destination hospitality environment is a plus. Responsibilities Oversee daily front-of-house operations and ensure a seamless, efficient, and elevated guest experience. Lead and support service teams throughout all phases of operation, including opening, service, and closing. Maintain consistent standards for hospitality, service, appearance, cleanliness, and professionalism. Actively manage the floor during service and ensure proper table coverage, pacing, communication, and guest engagement. Lead, coach, motivate, and develop servers, bartenders, hosts, runners, and support staff. Conduct pre-shift meetings and ongoing training focused on service standards, menu knowledge, wine, spirits, cocktails, and hospitality. Ensure staff consistently follow restaurant policies, procedures, and service standards. Monitor guest satisfaction and proactively address concerns to create positive guest experiences. Build strong relationships with repeat guests and contribute to guest retention and loyalty. Manage daily staffing levels, scheduling, breaks, and labor efficiency. Monitor sales performance, labor costs, beverage sales, and other key operational metrics. Support beverage and wine programs while driving product knowledge, suggestive selling, and upselling. Assist with inventory controls, product organization, and proper handling of food and beverage items. Ensure proper execution of POS, reservation, payment, and other restaurant systems. Maintain strong communication between FOH, BOH, management, events, and ownership. Assist with private events, large parties, and special functions as needed. Enforce company policies and maintain a professional, respectful, and team-oriented workplace. Identify operational challenges and implement solutions to improve efficiency and accountability. Support the General Manager and leadership team in achieving operational, financial, and guest-experience goals. Lead by example and maintain a visible, energetic, and professional presence throughout service.
