BWP D Shift - 7p - 7a Job Summary Supervisor, Operations coordinates and supervises the daily operational activities of a production or technical team to ensure the safe, efficient, and high-quality completion of work. Leads and develops a group of skilled employees by setting priorities, assigning tasks, and ensuring goals are met according to business and safety standards. Implements policies, procedures, and operational best practices to maintain workflow continuity and resource optimization. Collaborates with other supervisors and departments to resolve challenges, drive continuous improvement, and maintain operational excellence. Receives guidance from management while exercising sound judgment in daily decision-making and staff direction. Key Responsibilities
Administers daily operations by overseeing team activities, ensuring adherence to schedules, and maintaining productivity standards.
Advises team members on operational procedures, safety protocols, and performance expectations to ensure compliance and efficiency.
Assists the manager in developing and implementing operational strategies, goals, and objectives to align with organizational priorities.
Certifies that all work is performed in accordance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
Coaches less experienced staff by providing training, mentorship, and performance feedback to foster professional development.
Coordinates processes and assignments among team members and other departments to optimize workflow and achieve operational goals.
Evaluates performance by monitoring team output, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
Implements systems to enhance efficiency by introducing process improvements, technology solutions, and best practices.
Leads day-to-day operations by managing resources, resolving issues, and ensuring that production targets are met.
Identifies areas of opportunity and drives continuous improvement across their operation.
Performs other duties as assigned
Complies with all policies and standards
Manages staff performance and development, coaching team members to achieve their full potential in contributing to the department's goals.
Required Education & Experience Minimum Education Level:
