Job Description
Position Summary This position is accountable for assisting in the operations for a terminal location. Essential Functions Supervise performance of drivers Conduct interviews and hire drivers Work closely with dispatchers on troubleshooting items such as delivery issues, driver training program, staffing levels, customer requests/complaints, etc. Approve/Deny driver PTO requests, manage annual vacation schedule, create weekly driver schedule for dispatch Assist in the forecasting of terminal performance and analyze terminal financial information
Ensure maximum asset utilization Qualifications Bachelors degree in business related field or equivalent business experience in the transportation industry Excellent conflict resolution skills Effective oral, written and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to influence Basic understanding of
