Role Specific Information Job Description 2nd Shift, Monday-Thursday, 4:30 pm-2:30 am About the Role As Operations Manager, you will provide store service by coordinating merchandise processing from the vendor through the Distribution Network. You will manage the day-to-day execution of overall business strategies and productivity measures. What You'll Do Manage workflow of several departments in conjunction with individual department Supervisors to meet planned units per hour, cost per unit, level of service and accuracy standards Effectively manage staffing to meet UPH and CPU goals Develop and maintain accuracy standards to ensure unit inventory integrity Responsible for the prompt, efficient and accurate processing of merchandise, customer order selection and delivery through the Distribution Network Coordinate and communicate changes and updates in process and procedures Work with other departments and divisions to resolve problems and ensure efficient service Manage direct reports, systems, and projects to achieve unit goals per Kohl's policies and procedures Prepare and analyze unit plans and reporting Provide leadership by exhibiting influence and expertise, driving results Create an effective work environment by developing a common vision, setting clear objectives, expecting teamwork, recognizing outstanding performance and maintaining open communications Develop staff through coaching, providing performance feedback, providing effective performance assessments and establishing performance and development plans Additional tasks may be assigned What Skills You Have
