Assistant Part-Time Dog Park Manager, Kauai Pet Boarding & Grooming Play hard. Lead confidently. Work in paradise. Kauai Pet Boarding & Grooming is looking for a confident, capable Assistant Part-Time Manager to run our dog park shifts independently — someone who can lead the pack while soaking up the island vibes. This isn't sitting behind a desk. This is hands-on, active, outdoor leadership in one of the most beautiful places in the world. What Your Days Look Like You'll independently oversee dog park operations during your shifts (20 or more hours a week) and confidently manage: Dog Play & Supervision Safely supervising dogs of all sizes and energy levels Engaging them in play and structured socialization Monitoring heat, weather, and activity levels Ensuring every dog is happy, safe, and well-managed (We do not house aggressive dogs — we maintain a safe, positive pack environment.) Full Shift Leadership You're the go-to leader during your shift: Managing check-ins and check-outs Communicating clearly with clients Enforcing park rules and leash protocols Maintaining a clean, organized, professional space Staying alert to weather, wildlife, and environmental safety You'll run the shift confidently and independently after training is complete.
