Bensenville, IL Compensation:
$80,000-$95,000 Base Salary + Performance Bonus (Up to 20%) Lead a Growing Business. Build Great Teams. Drive Results. Enviro-Master of Chicagoland is a rapidly growing commercial hygiene and facility service company serving businesses throughout the Chicagoland area. We provide recurring restroom hygiene services, deep cleaning, drain maintenance, pressure washing, and specialty commercial cleaning services. We are looking for an experienced General Manager to become the operational leader of our company. This is not a traditional office manager position. The owner is transitioning away from the day-to-day operation to focus on business growth, acquisitions, sales, and strategic expansion. We are seeking a leader who can confidently oversee daily operations, develop employees, improve systems, solve problems, and build a culture of accountability. Your Responsibilities As General Manager, you will be responsible for the overall execution of company operations. Operations Leadership Oversee all daily business operations. Manage office staff and field technicians. Ensure routes are fully staffed and completed efficiently. Oversee scheduling, dispatching, and technician productivity. Monitor daily service quality and customer satisfaction. Identify operational issues before they impact customers. Continuously improve systems, processes, and efficiency. Leadership & Team Development Recruit, interview, hire, onboard, and develop employees. Coach team members and conduct performance reviews. Hold employees accountable to company standards. Address performance issues professionally and consistently. Build a positive, high-performance culture. Develop future leaders within the organization. Customer Experience Resolve escalated customer concerns. Maintain excellent customer retention. Ensure service quality meets company standards. Support sales through outstanding customer service. Route, Warehouse & Fleet Management Oversee scheduling and route optimization. Monitor missed stops and technician productivity. Maintain warehouse organization and inventory controls. Manage purchasing and vendor relationships. Ensure company vehicles remain properly stocked and maintained. Financial & Administrative Management Review payroll for hourly, salary, and commission employees. Oversee Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processes. Monitor labor costs and operational KPIs. Assist with budgeting and profitability initiatives. Improve operational efficiency while controlling costs. What Success Looks LikeFirst 90 Days Learn our systems, software, customers, and employees. Build trust with office staff and field technicians. Take ownership of scheduling and daily operations. Understand company KPIs and reporting. Within 6 Months Independently manage daily operations. Improve technician accountability. Reduce missed stops and scheduling issues. Improve customer satisfaction. Implement measurable operational improvements. Within 12 Months Successfully operate the business with minimal owner involvement. Develop department leaders. Improve profitability through operational excellence. Build scalable systems that support continued company growth. What We're Looking For Required Qualifications Minimum 5 years of management experience. Experience leading service, logistics, transportation, distribution, facilities, construction, or route-based operations. Experience supervising teams of 15 or more employees. Strong leadership and employee accountability skills. Experience with scheduling and workforce planning. Experience managing payroll, HR, or personnel issues. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and business software. Preferred Qualifications Commercial service industry experience. Route-based service management. Branch management experience. Inventory management. QuickBooks experience. Compensation & Benefits Base Salary:
$80,000-$95,000
Performance Bonus:
