Build Great Projects. Lead Great Crews. Simple Flooring is growing, and we're looking for a hands-on Field Operations Manager to take ownership of our installation operations. Simple Flooring is looking for an experienced, hands-on Project Manager who knows residential flooring—not someone who sits behind a desk all day. This role is responsible for managing projects from material ordering to final installation while supporting our installation crews in the field. You'll be the person installers call when a job gets complicated. If there's a problem, you're expected to find the solution.
What You'll Be Responsible For:
Lead and support multiple flooring installation crews Visit job sites to ensure quality and customer satisfaction Solve installation problems and make field decisions Order materials and coordinate deliveries Review job scopes before installation Ensure crews have everything they need before starting Keep projects on schedule and within budget Work with the sales and office teams to coordinate upcoming jobs Perform final quality inspections Handle customer concerns professionally when needed Improve processes to reduce callbacks and increase efficiency We're Looking For Someone Who Has 5+ years of flooring industry experience Has experience leading installation crews Understands LVP, hardwood, laminate, carpet, and floor preparation Can make decisions without constant supervision Communicates well with customers and installers Is organized and detail-oriented Takes ownership and solves problems instead of creating them Leads by example Compensation & Benefits $95,000-$150,000 per year Performance bonuses Paid vacation Paid holidays Career advancement opportunities Stable, year-round work
