Job Description
SUMMARY:
This position has overall management responsibility for the site operations to ensure accomplishment of all site objectives. These objectives include achieving all operational business initiatives by optimizing productivity and efficiency in a safe work environment while meeting all quality and food safety requirements. This position provides site leadership for employee communications, managing resources to meet customer requirements and supporting the ABW quality and food safety culture. This position reports directly to the General Manager with overall responsibility for the site operational segment.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Manages staffing/scheduling resources to ensure schedules are sufficiently staffed to meet customer's requirements, Reviews production plan to ensure resources and capabilities in place, Manages site staff meetings to support communication needs as required with ongoing informal meetings with direct and indirect reports to ensure adequacy of resources, Provides project resources and support for all site projects, Provides external project resources as required to support corporate projects, Leads the site communication network through periodic staff meetings and supporting the electronic communication medium Provides immediate interface with the customer as needed to address any issues, Supports the financial planning and monitoring for the site operations to meet budgetary requirements, Provides active leadership support for all ABW quality and food safety and personal safety initiatives, DUTIES

IV. MINIMUM
EDUCATIONAL or
TRAINING REQUIREMENTS
BA/BS Degree in Business / Logistics Management or related field of study preferred. Equivalent education, experience and other training will be considered, Minimum of 10 years' experience supervising or managing a production area or facility, warehouse or logistics operation.
