A growing transportation and logistics company is seeking an ambitious and results-driven People Operations Manager to lead our team and drive the continued growth of our nationwide independent contractor driver network. What You'll Do Lead, coach, and develop a team Establish recruiting goals and hold the team accountable for results Create strategies to attract qualified independent contractor drivers Manage daily recruiting operations and workflow Oversee our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and recruiting technology Monitor recruiting metrics and develop action plans to improve performance Identify bottlenecks and create solutions that improve hiring speed and efficiency Partner with Operations to ensure recruiting efforts align with business needs Develop recruiting campaigns and sourcing strategies Collaborate with Marketing to improve employment branding and advertising Evaluate recruiting performance through reporting and analytics Continuously improve recruiting processes and candidate experience Stay current on recruiting trends, sourcing strategies, and industry best practices What Success Looks Like Building and leading a highly engaged recruiting team Increasing the number of qualified drivers entering the pipeline Reducing hiring cycle times Continuously improving recruiting processes Creating accountability through measurable performance metrics Driving results, not excuses Qualifications Previous leadership or management experience required Experience leading recruiting, sales, operations, staffing, or customer service teams preferred Experience managing an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) Strong understanding of recruiting metrics and reporting Exceptional communication and leadership skills Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities Ability to prioritize multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment Proficiency with Microsoft Office Transportation recruiting experience is a plus but not required Who You Are We're looking for someone who: Leads from the front and inspires others to succeed Has a strong sense of urgency and follows through Takes ownership instead of making excuses Loves solving problems and improving processes Thrives in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment Is competitive and motivated by achieving results Makes data-driven decisions Coaches people while holding them accountable Wants to grow into a senior leadership position Doesn't wait to be told what needs to be done, they make it happen
