Full Job Description Reports To:
Regional Manager Position Summary The District Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operational success of all Club Pilates studios within their assigned district. This leader partners closely with General Managers to drive performance, uphold brand standards, develop talent, and create exceptional experiences while establishing and maintaining a strong studio culture rooted in the company's Core Values. Through consistent leadership, coaching, and accountability, the District Manager ensures every studio reflects the organization's standards, values, and commitment to excellence. As a member of the Leadership Team, the District Manager plays a key role in executing strategic initiatives, contributing to annual planning, and ensuring consistency across the district. This position serves as the bridge between studio operations and regional leadership, driving operational excellence, developing future leaders, and creating scalable systems that support the continued growth of the organization. Studio Operations Provide daily operational oversight and support for all studios within the district. Coach, mentor, and hold General Managers accountable to operational standards and key performance indicators. Conduct at least monthly studio visits to ensure consistency in execution, cleanliness, member experience, team culture, and brand standards. Identify operational opportunities and implement action plans to improve performance. Leadership & Team Development Directly coach, mentor, and develop General Managers and District Staff through daily, weekly, and monthly ongoing conversations, including Quarterly Conversations. Lead the interviewing and hiring process for all General Manager positions within the district. Support onboarding and ongoing leadership development for new and existing managers, including developing and maintaining a Manager in Training program to continually cultivate internal candidates for future leadership positions. Direct performance management, corrective action, and succession planning. Support other Districts in developing staff, recruiting talent, and creating future leaders. Coverage & Staffing Own General Manager coverage across the district. Partner with the Regional Manager to proactively plan leadership coverage and staffing needs. Support studios during leadership transitions as needed. Work collaboratively with other Districts to ensure continuity in leadership coverage and support the Regional Manager as needed. Member Experience Establish, implement, and maintain exceptional member experience standards across every studio. Ensure teams consistently deliver outstanding hospitality, retention, and service recovery. Monitor member feedback and develop action plans for continuous improvement. Culture & Core Values Champion, model, and reinforce the company's Core Values across every studio. Build a positive, accountable, and collaborative culture throughout the district. Ensure hiring, coaching, recognition, and accountability consistently reflect company culture. Grassroots Marketing Own and elevate grassroots marketing standards across the district. Coach General Managers on building community partnerships, executing local events, and generating qualified leads. Ensure each studio generates a minimum of five qualified grassroots leads per month through community outreach efforts. Leadership Team Responsibilities Serve as a member of the Leadership Team. Contribute to annual planning and strategic initiatives. Lead weekly District L10 meetings. Ensure weekly and monthly scorecard metrics are completed, monitored, and communicated to the appropriate General Managers and Regional Manager. Attend Leadership L10 Meetings Performance & Accountability Monitor KPIs including membership growth, retention, attrition, lead generation, conversion, staffing, profitability, and staff retention. Develop action plans to improve underperforming metrics. Ensure company policies, procedures, and Core Values are consistently upheld. Qualifications 3+ years of multi-unit leadership or district management experience preferred. Strong leadership, coaching, and people development skills. Experience hiring, onboarding, and developing high-performing managers. Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to travel regularly between studio locations. Passion for developing leaders, building strong teams, and creating exceptional member experiences. Success Measures Strong General Manager engagement and development. Consistent execution of operational and member experience standards. Successful General Manager hiring and retention. District-wide grassroots execution and lead generation.
