A Director of Operations is responsible for the day-to-day operations of a company or organization. Plans, organizes, directs and evaluates delivery of goods and services. Supervises staff, oversee projects and daily work activities. May have responsibility for managing supplies and materials, budgets or customer relations; may serve as liaison to senior management.
Oversee management of operations to ensure all is running in the most cost-effective manner within quality standards. Achieve optimum labor, and least amount of overhead and resource costs. Oversee maximum efficiency in design and production. Ensure inventory and deliverables operate at levels which meet customers needs. Direct activities so that approved deliverables are completed on schedule and within quality standards and cost objectives.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following. Additional responsibilities may be assigned. Ability to manage and lead in a 3PL shared environment with multiple clients. Manages Managers to ensure deliverables are picked, packaged, and shipped in a timely and cost-effective manner. Manage the performance of the operation to meet and exceed client KPI standards. Ability to manage operational efficiencies while meeting quality and compliance requirements. Facilitate re-occurring business reviews with clients to communicate operational KPI s and promote partnerships. Full P&L experience Ensures standards for product quality, equipment, and operator performance are maintained and that cost effective technology is used to maximize production. Ensures fixed assets are preserved. Initiates recommendations on purchases of new equipment and improvements Develops, monitors, and reports on operating costs within functional areas. Alerts management of cost and labor overrun. Recommends and implements solutions to problems related to same Ensures deliverables are packaged and shipped according to needs, specifications, and quality standards. Ensures managers and supervisors comply with company policies and administering practices in fair and equitable manner. Manages budget and controls expenses effectively. Hires, trains, develops, and appraises staff effectively. Takes corrective action as necessary on a timely basis and in accordance with company policies. Ability to facilitate a culture that promotes teamwork, open communication, transparency, and autonomy. Pharmaceutical experience is a plus.

SYSTEMS REQUIRMENTS
Must be competent with MS Office EDUCATION and/or
EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or GED Equivalent required. Bachelor s degree. Minimum 5 years of job-related experience. Must have strong coaching, teaching, facilitation, and organizational skills, with a solid track record of developing organizational and individual capabilities. Excellent oral/written communication skills. Demonstrated competence in analytical/critical thinking and problem-solving skills, decision making, strategic planning and people management. Operational knowledge required. Must have a working knowledge of facilities maintenance/management. Working knowledge of pharmaceutical distribution regulations and best practices helpful. .
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and correspondence.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to physically count, add, subtract, multiply and divide.
REASONING ABILILTY
