Position Overview The Event Operations Manager leads the execution of all banquet and event operations at The Club at Holliday Farms. This position oversees Banquet Leads and event service staff, ensuring every event is delivered with attentive hospitality, operational excellence, attention to detail, and a high level of professionalism . Working closely with food & beverage, culinary, events, and club leadership, the Event Operations Manager is responsible for translating event plans and BEOs into seamless experiences for members and guests while maintaining strong team accountability and service standards. Key Responsibilities Oversee the setup, execution, service, breakdown, and post-event operations for member events, weddings, golf outings, social functions, and private events. Lead, schedule, train, coach, and develop Banquet Leads and event service staff, establishing clear expectations for performance and hospitality. Maintain a strong on-floor leadership presence during events to ensure seamless execution, elevated service, and immediate resolution of operational needs. Ensure all events are executed accurately according to BEOs, timelines, club standards, and member expectations. Conduct pre-event meetings to review event details, staffing assignments, service expectations, timelines, and operational priorities. Partner closely with Culinary, Events, and Food & Beverage leadership to ensure precise timing, communication, presentation, and coordination between front and back of house. Plan and adjust staffing levels to support efficient labor management while maintaining the service standards expected of a luxury private club. Uphold exceptional standards for hospitality, appearance, cleanliness, organization, service, and attention to detail throughout all event spaces. Train and mentor team members in elevated service, professionalism, club procedures, and member-focused hospitality. Assist with recruiting, onboarding, performance management, and ongoing development of banquet team members. Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, professionalism, and service excellence. Address member and guest needs or concerns promptly, professionally, and with a solutions-oriented approach. Maintain organization and inventory of banquet equipment, china, glassware, linens, décor, and event supplies. Assist with billing accuracy, event reconciliation, and other administrative functions as needed. Collaborate with club leadership and department managers on event programming, staffing strategies, service improvements, and operational efficiencies. Support club-wide events and additional Food & Beverage operations as needed Member Experience The Event Operations Manager is expected to consistently represent the standards and reputation of Holliday Farms through: A warm, polished, and professional presence with members and guests. Qualifications Leadership experience in banquet operations, luxury hospitality, private clubs, hotels, restaurants, or event management preferred. Strong understanding of event execution, banquet service, staffing, and hospitality operations. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to lead teams in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure, professionalism, and service standards. Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. A genuine passion for luxury hospitality and creating exceptional member and guest experiences. Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and special club events as required. Licenses & Certifications Food Safety Certification required. Alcohol Beverage Certification required or must be obtained within the designated timeframe. Compensation $50,000.00 per year Physical Requirements This position requires the ability to stand and walk for extended periods, lift and move event equipment and supplies, assist with room setups and breakdowns, and work effectively in an active hospitality environment.
