About Lifeline Homecare At Lifeline Homecare, we are dedicated to providing high-quality, compassionate care that allows our clients to remain independent in their own homes. We are looking for a mission-driven leader to oversee our Kentucky regional operations, ensuring that our commitment to "people first" starts with our staff and extends to every client we serve. The Role The Regional Director serves as the operational anchor for their assigned Kentucky region. You will be responsible for the "triple bottom line": the quality of care, the financial health of the region, and the engagement of our CareGiver workforce. This is a high-impact, "player-coach" role that requires a leader who is as comfortable analyzing a P&L statement as they are stepping into a client's home to ensure services are delivered.
Essential Functions Operational & Financial Leadership Regional Oversight:
Manage daily operations and financial performance for a multi-county region, ensuring region meets budgetary and service goals.
Strategic Growth:
Process new work order referrals in person as needed and represent Lifeline Homecare at community events (health fairs, job fairs, veteran events, etc.) to drive regional awareness.
Compliance:
Maintain meticulous documentation, personnel files, and client records in accordance with Kentucky state regulations.
Scheduling:
Schedule caregivers in a cost-efficient manner to meet client needs. Manage caregiver schedules including change requests, absenteeism, and new client services.
Payroll:
Review and approve payroll for CareGivers and office staff.
Team Management & Talent Planning Leadership:
Directly supervise Assistant Regional Director(s) and administrative staff, fostering a culture of respect, open communication, and teamwork.
Workforce Development:
Oversee the full talent lifecycle, including recruiting, interviewing, and selecting high-quality CareGivers.
Training:
Facilitate orientation, shadowing, and annual training programs, monitoring for effectiveness and relevance to modern care standards.
Performance:
Conduct regular performance reviews and corrective actions to maintain a high standard of service.
Communication:
Maintain frequent contact (both verbal and text/email) with Home Office and CareGivers across the region.
Client & Field Support Service Coordination:
Act as the primary liaison between case managers, clients, families, and CareGivers.
Quality Assurance:
Conduct client evaluations and field supervisory visits to ensure care plans are being followed.
Care Continuity:
A unique requirement of this leadership role is commitment to our clients; in the event of a staffing gap, the Regional Director will personally provide home care services to ensure no client is left without essential care. Regional Travel:
This position requires frequent travel (up to 50%) across multiple Kentucky counties. Candidates must have a valid driver's license, a reliable vehicle, and the ability to drive in various weather conditions and terrains.
Field Environment:
Work is performed in both a professional office setting and within client homes. Exposure to various home environments (including pets or tobacco smoke) may occur during evaluations or care coverage.
Stamina & Mobility:
Must be able to remain stationary for extended periods of time in an office or vehicle, as well as stand, walk, and move through client residences.
Physical Assistance:
Must be able to perform physical caregiving tasks when necessary, including: Lifting, pushing, or pulling up to 50 pounds. Assisting with client transfers and mobility. Stooping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching to handle materials or provide care.
Sensory Requirements:
Ability to effectively communicate using auditory and visual methods; must have close vision (20 inches or less) for documentation and client assessment.
Qualifications Education:
Associate's degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field preferred.
Experience:
2 years of experience in caregiving or office management, with a strong preference for non-medical in-home care.
Skills:
Proven expertise in labor management, scheduling, and talent planning.
Technical:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word/Excel) and experience with scheduling software.
Licensure:
Must have a valid driver's license and the ability to travel across multiple Kentucky counties.
Knowledge:
Experience with EVV - electronic visit verification preferred.
Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
